  4. Once the butter has fully melted, add the chopped onions, green chilies, chopped coriander, and chopped tomato, and let it saute for a few seconds.

Bread Omelette - Serving Suggestions

While the bread omelet can undoubtedly hold its own as either a breakfast, lunch or even dinner, there’s no reason why it can’t be served with some added extras. Here are some ideas of what to serve with your bread omelet.

  1. Spiced pumpkin smoothie - if you want to avoid a food coma then try serving your bread omelet with this light and delicious spiced pumpkin smoothie! It is super healthy and filling but won’t leave you feeling stuffed.

  2. A radicchio salad with a light olive and apple vinegar dressing - bread omelets are slightly soggy, salty, and yellow, so this bright pink radicchio salad is the perfect accompaniment. It’s crunchy, slightly sweet, and on the opposite side of the color spectrum. Any salad would pair perfectly with the bread omelet but if you’re going for the pretty factor, this is the one!

  3. Tomato ketchup or mint/green chutney - this is the standard pairing with the bread omelet, and for good reason! They are quite simply a match made in food heaven. Chef’s kiss!

  4. Peanut butter with sliced strawberries or banana - on the opposite side of the flavor spectrum is this serving suggestion. If you’re someone who prefers to take their breakfasts on the sweeter side, then this could be the one for you.
