Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1-1/2 Gram flour (besan)
1/4 All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 tablespoon Red Chilli powder
Salt, to taste
1/2 Tablespoon Chaat Masala Powder
Water, as required
1 tablespoon Baking powder
Butter, to smear
1/2 cup Onion, finely chopped
2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
Coriander (Dhania) Leaves, finely chopped
1/4 cup Tomato, finely chopped
6 Slices Whole Wheat Brown Bread
Method:
Add besan, all-purpose flour, red chili powder, salt to taste, and chaat masala to a large mixing bowl. Add water and make a thin batter.
Add the baking powder and mix it in with the batter.
Grab yourself a nonstick pan, and add one tablespoon of butter.
Once the butter has fully melted, add the chopped onions, green chilies, chopped coriander, and chopped tomato, and let it saute for a few seconds.
Add one ladle or one and a half (according to how large your pan is), and spread the batter.
Allow to cook for a few seconds, and then place one bread in the middle and then flip the bread again. This allows the bread to fully coat with the batter.
Let the omelet cook on one side and then flip it along with the bread to the other side.
Once it has fully cooked, tuck on the omelet side.
Your eggless bread omelet is now ready to serve! Repeat the same process for the other bread slices.
