Cheese Ball Recipe
Cheese ball recipe are one of the best vegetarian appetizers that serve as a great teatime snack, an irresistible party starter, and one of the must-try monsoon munchies. These are very easy to make. There are several different ways of preparing cheese balls, but here is one cheese ball recipe method that wins all the time.
Ingredients needed to make Cheese ball recipe:
1/2 cup of grated cheese
2 medium-sized potatoes
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper powder
Salt and spices
½ tsp or to taste
Few coriander leaves chopped
4 tablespoons of gram flour
Directions for Cheese ball recipe:
Boil the potatoes in a cooker until they are completely cooked and leave them aside until it gets warm. When the potatoes are completely warm, peel the skin off and mash them properly.
If you don’t have grated cheese, you can use basic processed cheese and grate it.
Add black pepper powder, hot spices and about 1 and a half tablespoons of coriander leaves to the mashed potatoes. Blend all this properly.
Add the gram flour to the potato mixture. If you don’t have gram flour, you can use maida or corn starch too. Mix all this together until it is evenly spread out.
Add grated cheese and a pinch of black salt. Also, if the cheese already has salt, skip on the black salt, but if it doesn’t, you can use the black salt. If you don’t have black salt, you can just use regular salt in the mixture.
In a wok, heat oil and start making tiny balls with your palm of the potato cheese mix and deep fry until golden brown.
If the cheese balls break when frying, you need to add 2 spoons of gram flour to the mixture.
Serve with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise. It will perfectly complement these mouthwatering cheese ball recipe.
