Kodiak Cake Recipes
Founded in 1982 as a small family brand, Kodiak Cakes has now earned itself a name as one of the best pancake mixes going. So the story goes, it all started with a little red wagon and a family recipe. When Penny Clarke sent her 8-year-old son into the neighborhood with a recipe from her dad for healthy, whole wheat pancakes, little did she know how much of a hit this recipe would become. Flash-forward to present-day and Kodiak Cakes, a former ‘Shark Tank’ reject, has since expanded to sell individual oatmeal, brownie mixes, frozen pre-packed waffles, frozen pre-packed pancakes, granola protein bars, and fruit syrup, and brings in a hefty $100 million a year! Not bad for a company that made less than $30,000 in their first year, determination clearly pays off! The pancake recipe has since been modified to an “add water only” mix, but their ethos remains the same; rustic, natural, and wholesome. Its popularity means that there is no shortage of delicious Kodiak Cake recipes all over the web and I have found what I believe to be the tastiest ones going. Without further ado, let’s take a look at some Kodiak Cake recipes for you to dig into!
