5 Children Yoga Poses Any Child Can Do
1. Downward Facing Dog
For this one you need to be on your the flat palms of your hands hands and feet pushing your bum up towards the air (body in a V shape). This Stretches the back of the legs and the lower back.
2. Cat and Cow
This pose is very similar to Table Top but once you are in table top pose you extend your neck out and arch your back - with your face towards the sky. This Stretches: Back and improves posture.
3. Standing Forward Bend
This pose is standing up, and reaching down to your ankles bending at the waist.- you can bend the knees if needed to make easier. This Stretches: Hamstrings, calves and hips
4. Childs Pose
For this one you will need to sit back on your heels, bring your forehead to you knees resting your arms alongside your body. This Stretches: Thighs, hips and ankles and helps relax the body.
5. Table Top Pose
