How to Make Hot Dog: Method
1. Dip the sausage in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.

4 cups water
2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (28 ounces) tomato sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
HOW TO MAKE HOT DOG SAUCE: METHOD
In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Carefully crumble beef into water. Add onion. Boil until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomato sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until heated through. Serve over hot dogs in buns.
